How To Set Up Automatic Message In WhatsApp Business
Step 1: Open the WhatsApp business on your smartphone and tap the menu icon at the top right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Tap on the “Settings” to access your preferences.
Step 3: Go to the “Company Settings” to set up your automated responses. When you are unable to speak, tap "Message Out of Office" to set up an automatic reply to your customers.
Step 4: Enable the "Send absent message" option to type your automatic reply and touch the pencil icon next to the "absent message."

Step 1: Again, tap on the "Greeting message" in the "Business Settings" of WhatsApp Business.

Quick Response
Quick responses are not automated, but you can quickly send custom information, such as the price of your products, because it sends you a select shortcut.
To send a quick reply:
Step 1: Go to "WhatsApp" Company Settings and tap on "Quick Reply."
Step 2: WhatsApp Business will show the standard message sent via a shortcut. Touch it to change preferences.

How to set up automated messaging in regular WhatsApp
Now, if you don't want to download WhatsApp Business, but are interested in sending automatic replies to your contacts, you can do so with the help of Auto Responder for the WA app. Keep in mind that the app does not have a connection with WhatsApp.Step 1: Go to Google Play Store and download the app.
Step 2: Tap “Notification Settings” to give the app access to your smartphone.
Step 3: On the app's home screen, touch the "+" icon in the lower right corner to start setting up your automatic response.
Step 4: You will see a warning about using symbols like at (at),: (intestines) or ((brackets)) and tap "OK" to proceed.
Step 5: Next to the message received, tap "All."
Step 6: Tap, “OK.”
Step 7: In the "Received message," define the text sent by your contacts that enables automatic replies.
Step 8: In the “Reply message,” type the automated answer you want to send to your contacts. To save it all, tap on the check icon in the lower right corner of the screen.

Defining who gets the message
